Planning: the wedding is taking place between 10:20 - 10:40

Location: City hall of Ghent - Belgium Botermarkt 1, 9000 Gent.

Due to a limited seating capacity, we only expect close family members and the witness to be present (please check on your invitations). The city hall will set up a livestream to follow the wedding online:

Important: refresh the livestream at the moment the ceremony starts, otherwise it might not work properly.

Planning: reception drinks will start around 17:00, dinner will be served at 19:30, dessert will start around 21:00 followed by the evening party.

Location: Room Altra Ripa*, Altra Ripa Doorniksesteenweg 357, 8582 Avelgem.

Parking: a free parking can be found next to the venue, reserved just for you.

Dresscode: everything is allowed, from black to white, or even pastel colors. Something chic that you like wearing.

Theme: we will do our best to decorate the venue with a Japanese touch. For the enthusiasts, there will be a few Japanese dishes as well! However we are not planning to dress according to this theme. Therefore, as mentioned above, feel free to choose your own attire independent of this theme.

Once our PhDs are done, we would like to move to Japan for a few years. Therefore, we will have to leave lots of our stuff behind in Belgium. This means we would prefer to avoid any (big) physical gifts if possible.
